Our Story

How this started.

A community united against cancer since 2010.

Our Story

Scott Davenport, Brian Fisher, and John Aylward are the reason this tournament exists. Their wives and a community that loved all three men founded it in 2010 — out of love, and out of care for other families facing cancer.

In Loving Memory

The three men this tournament was built to honor. Their families will share their stories here.

Our impact

Since 2010, the Craven Cancer Classic has raised over $500K+ for cancer patients in the Craven County area. The tournament has grown from a single session to morning and afternoon shotgun starts, welcoming over 60 teams each year to the New Bern Golf & Country Club.

Showing up since 2010. $500K+ raised. The same reason every time.
